Victor The Bear

Back in the early 80's, I was kicking back at home when the phone rang. It was a good friend of mine and he asked me what I was doing that weekend. When I told him nothing he said,"you are now". He told me that that Saturday we were going to the Anahiem Convention Center to your going to wrestle a bear. At first I didn't believe him but after a few minutes he convinced me.

After I hung up I called another good friend and when I told him he wanted to do it too. After playing a little phone tag it was a done deal. Me and Jimmy was wrestling a bear that Saturday.

Below is a picture of some of the greatest guys anyone could ever have the honor to call friends. To the left is Rich, Jimmy, me, John D. and Steve.

Steve is the one who talked me and Jimmy into wrestling Victor The Bear. In all honesty, as soon as he mentioned it, we jumped on it.
